NOTES:
These are some things you should read before saying you found a bug 😀
1) If you use Nav3D and scroll to menu, you’ll notice strange behaviour of KS Menu—> This happens with every ks scrolling app if used together with nav3D (menu in this case)–> To solve this just keep the finger down on the screen while scrolling, and you won’t have problems
2) If you want to make slowmotion videos, you need the NoPreFocus patch
3) Chinese input is not working in chinese localization, I already warned you 🙂 I’m waiting for some chinese guys to try if dayhand input works ok, otherwise I’ll remove the chinese localization
4) Don’t rotate bluetooth App and DLNA, because they’re not made to be used in landscape
5) If you enable Task3D, it will popup when you start the phone, I think it is not a problem, but I just want you to know that this is normal, even though this is not a common behaviour 😉 This is due to how PowerBoot works…using a paid software I could avoid this, but I can’t use paid software in my releases 🙂
6) If you see all the languages available in the language list, this is NORMAL 🙂 You don’t have all those languages 🙂 They just appear in the list but they’re not installed —> I need this otherwise localization patches wouldn’t work
7) Facebook uploading through communities is not working, I think this is because facebook changed website structure recently…youtube uploading works ok

    1 question. There is a way where i can edit the portuguese localization to change the language from portugal and edit to save for brazilian portuguese? I think u said something in older posts. But i can’t find. Thanks!

    what’s the problem? select portuguese and use that if you are ok with portuguese language 🙂

  6. Faenil… portuguese from brazil is different from portuguese from portugal. Isn’t the same… many words are writed in different mode…. many ;P

    Is there a way where i can edit and create a brazilian portuguese????? Or just Portuguese from portugal???

  7. No problem… but we only need do this once, not? Here in brazil the comunity with i8910 is very big… would be very nice to have a pt-br language…. and the ebay could sell more phones… because alot of people don’t know english ;P

  8. bro faenil , i must tell ya ur new fw looks very nice but i dont like ks menu , i cant understand it , its so ugly ! please when u have time make an n2o3 fw without ks menu and send it to me on email or somethin ! please ! ill flash back to n2o2 till than ! ty in advance !

    I won’t do a different version, it needs to much work with localizations, cheers

  9. JB1 Modem??? Maybe in combination with your firmware.
    I ve used it with hx and it s the worst modem firmware ever. Poor battery life, dropped calls, bad signal.

  10. It would e great if there were also JA1 modem or even older ones so one could try them all out 🙂 but I guess it’s up to us users to try and find them out there in the wild if possible…

  11. Why precision theme?
    Universal theme feels more profesional, we have a lot of icons that dont fit in precision layout, and when we add diferent themes we have an easter egg like theme ‘couse of the MP skin. Theme used by Wireless moded universal is best that I’ve seen.
    That’s only about visual aspect, everything else is verry verry good, great!
    Also one more thing, video prefocus was not disabled by Samsung for no reason 😉

    you can disable video prefocus if you don’t want it with a .sis file I created.
    2) theme –> come on don’t say universal is more professional 😀

  13. JC1 is the better modem! JB1 produced sometimes terriffic bleeping with my provider.
    I am on JC1 and my accu lasts for 5 days now and is not finished yet.

  15. Pls. help me..After flashing to n203,I lost my Samsung LBS folder and the Universal theme plus everytime i click HELP it always say system error..I am a newbie in flashing..What might have been?

    I think you didn’t make a hardreset…samsung lbs is there, and help icon should not be there

  16. Nice work faenil but why to confuse users when it not thrue that i8910 with jb1 modem has better battery life?

    coz a friend of mine made a test and he found out that battery lasted much longer with JB1 doing the same things (push mail 24hours day)

  19. i have jc1 modem installed, i have tried Base version with italian patch and international version also.
    CAN’T ESTABLISH A CONNECTION GPRS in 2g mode, i’m italian with 3 operator. all works in 3g mode.
    in 2g mode cant’ connect. i had the same problem in the past with a rom c1c1 LEMON. all works for me with n202.

    try making a hardreset…don’t know what it is..

  24. I just finished playing around with n203,good firmware as always but noticed the following:

    1) when i send music files via bluetooth and they save,they dont show up in music player even after refresh!! i had to manually remove them to the right place to work, it would be great if you can automatically save all bluetooth music files to ‘MUSIC’ folder on E.
    can’t do this 🙂
    2)I use the symbian 3 theme as its nice, but when installed the icon for ‘Game’ and ‘Web’ changed to blank bland icons.
    yep the icon skinning is only for the theme I made…the theme has been modified on purpose

    3)when changing themes, it doesnt seem to take effect on the Music player.
    it doesn’t and it’s normal…it has always been this way…

    The rest is all good, video recorder and sync is the best till now, great quality too, but overall im happy with firmware, therefore donated!! 🙂

    Two Phones two Instalations 0 problems.
    Ndrive ok,Opera Mobile & Mini ok,WiFi ok,Java Games(10) ok, Six games (6)ok,
    Spb Weather ok, Sportstracker ok,Resco photoviewer ok,DrJukka Y-Browser ok,
    Skyfire ok,
    only one little glitch with wallpapers slidshow ,when select the pictures after a few are selected puf list go away, i have try it many times without sucess.
    I have installed the jb1 Modem two times (without white dead thing 😆 )let’s see what happens.
    Thanks one more time.

    yep slideshow is a new mod and it’s not supposed to work on i8910…so expect some little strange behaviours 🙂

    the problem is that operator takes 50% of donation, and sms service takes other 5%…

  27. For all fan’s of Universal Theme don’t forget that you can install Universal Hybrid Theme, i did it in my wife phone and it work’s OK, not so fast as the default theme, but fast enought.

  29. Noooooooo. “Facebook uploading through communities is not working” ~ gutted! 🙁

    So no way of uploading photos to Facebook then? That a clincher for me with 2 sons and regular photo uploads to Facebook straight from the phone. It means not having to wait to get on the PC, transfer to the PC and then upload from there.

    Any ideas what the issue with this is? Any possibility you could liaise with Liam to see why it works on his latest version and not this one? ❓

    it is the very same application on both liam and mine…try again with liam’s, it shouldn’t work…

  32. I put POWERDICSYMBV9 folder into Drive folder and dictionary still doesn’t work ??? WHAT TO DO ???

    you must be doing something wrong 🙂 check that there are 18 files in the folder 😉 and that you copy the folder to E drive 🙂

    First of all, KUDOS to your firmware man! It’s lightning fast. There’s one thing I have noticed about the sound quality of the video though. I don’t know if there’s a patch that I need to install or it’s just the way it is, but the sound quality/clarity is bad and just like the older firmwares. By the way, I took the video during a rock concert.

    download the NONOISESUPPRESSOR PATCH if you need to record video in concerts, and follow the guide about video noise in the tutorials section

    Ho installato la tua rom e devo dire che una scheggia è lenta a confronto, però ho notato sui filamti hd che faccio sempre a mia figlia che scatta dopo una trentina di secondi. Naturalmente salvo i file sulla memoria del telefono. Se spengo il telefono e lo riaccendo il filmato che faccio non scatta +. Hai una soluzione? un saluto
    ps handy shell non parte + in automatico sai dirmi il motivo?

  38. Hi faenil, Truly awesome firmware. Very fast. I am getting one problem though.Sometimes after playing a java game or after browsing through opera, the phone dosen’t want to open menu page.It can open contacts or messaging but no menu,file manager nor app. I have JB taskman and Voice Launcher running in background. Please help!!
    Note: This happens only in widget mode.

    im facing a big problem..
    after flashing, my phone is not able to pick network signals showing “no service”..
    i hv done wtever i can, tried allmost all previous firmwares, problem is still there..
    a request (please help me out)..

    try flashing the modem part only 😉
    flash this package (it’s modem only, it doesn’t format anything and it does not need hardreset 😉 ) and let me know if you solve your problem 😉
