Hi guys WDR OFF base versions are now online, WDR ON VERSIONS ARE STILL ONLINE, I DID NOT UPDATE THEM BECAUSE THERE ARE NO BUGS (only those small things I put in wdr off versions) SO DON’T ASK FOR UPDATES OF WDR ON SINCE THEY DON’T NEED IT 😉

changes:

– nav3d kastor modified (when switching page in nav3d)

– some more folders exluded from gallery

– WDR is OFF by default

  1. Ancora non ho flashato 😈 , sicuramente voglio il task 3D e WDR escluso di default, una cosa volevo domandare se è possibile modificare e accade solo sul nostro Omnia.

    Quando scatto una foto in portrait ( verticale ), nella galleria sono costretto a vederla girata di 90° e quindi girarla dal cell o dal pc se la scarico. Quando è una foto non è un problema, quando sono molte si. Visto che i Nokia NON lo fanno questo scherzetto, raddrizzandosi automaticamente, è possibile una modifica simile sul nostro ❓

    1. Kinetic Scrolling (Speed Configuration)
    2. Jpeg Codecs (when we change the codecs.. it should show that you have switched from this codec to the new one) you can say its a alert type thingy or if we can have more jpeg codecs 😉
    3. Overclocking option should be there.. (if it is possible) :mrgreen:

    microphone sensitivity(very important)
    kinetic scrolling
    nav3d
    with this for me faenilator will be perfect!
    overclock it’s unnecessary because your rom is fast and i don’t need it

    I asked for new things guys…
    not things we already have…
    I know they are important 🙂

    1.How do i start the nav3d and task3d ? (i’m missing the solution)
    2. I personally thing that the theme and HS color choice is bad ,to many colours no good taste.The HS is nice but colors so ugly.
    3.Congrats for a very stable and fast Firmware, and not to forget the faenilator nice touch there.

    Know for your request:
    1.Some sort of battery management option ?
    2.Free ram and recources option?
    3.Kastor effects option?

    thats all i can produce right now..hope is usefell..

    at the moment use the n2o3’s IWantnav3d and IWantTask3d packets, you can find them in n2o3 download page 😉
    about the faenilator, ram and resources mmm you can see them in many places 🙂

  10. Grazie mille del lavoro Faenil,in Faenilator si potrebbe fare che quando si cambia il codec jpeg non serve riavviare?sarebbe un ottima cosa se fosse possibile.
    poi mettere il noise suppressor

    non si può fare, non credere che funzioni così nell’hx patcher perchè non è vero

  14. Faenil ma per curiosità…come mai nella versione senza kinetic nel menu non si possono mettere gli altri pack di lingue?

    poi quando mi metti le icone originali in basso alla home da sostituire? 🙂

    perchè non avevo i file del noks per le altre lingue e scaricare e spacchettare una decina di fw ufficiali per prendere solo 20 files non mi andava 🙂
    c’è l’italiano comunque, l’euro pack lo puoi mettere …
    per le icone sto pensando una soluzione più carina del solo darvi files 🙂

    una grafica più moderna 🙂
    quando si seleziona un opzione ci vorrebbe una spunta o qualcosa del genere… 🙂

    poi mi è successo che appariva invece del testo tante xxxxxx forse perchè fa conflitto con qualche programma non so se è per animenu con il python o per altro, ho provato a non installarlo e adesso funziona a dovere…

    una grafica moderna cosa vuol dire? 🙂 usa le qt, l’ultima evoluzione in ambito grafico -.- puoi anche cambiarti lo sfondo con uno a piacere tuo!
    per vedere l’attuale stato ci sarà un altro bottone 😉

    va in conflitto con fontrouter qt, non il faenilator

  16. Bravo again for a fantastic firmware :). Plus i personally prefer wdr on. My suggestions for your app are to be able to turn the flash on and use the phone as a torch, as i can only find phonetorch software that lights up our front display, the flash ones dont work on our device, or the ability to use the phones speakers as a panic alarm, maybe you could add battery extending profile option, something that either has presets, eg max battery, max performance, plus also a customiseable option too, where the user can fine tune power saving features. The features could comprise of something like the ability to turn off the gps, adjust brightness, wap strength, the option to shutdown background apps like spb shell if the battery is low. Maybe my last idea is beyond your reach at the moment with you qt programming skills but it would be great if you could sort out some auto profiles for different situations, which could automatically shutdown apps or hardware in the phone when it is not needed by the user.

  17. faenil per me dovresti trovare un modo col faenator di cambiare e ridimenzionare font… propio come fontrouterman.. visto che nn si puo piu istallare perche va in conflitto.. nn so.. se nn hai da fare nnt prova a trovare una alternativa 😛
    (ho usato il metodo classico per cambiare font ma a volte visualizza quella classica a volte nn fanno i numeri come quelli per il pin e a volte la visualizza piu grande del dovuto nei widget)

    ti ringrazio per la magnifica rom.. è davvero qualcosa di stupendo.. altro che v8.. l’ho tenuta 2 gg per aspettare la wdroff.. e nn tornerò mai piu a Hx…

  19. I’d like to be able to set permanently the option for landscape or portrait layout for every app, most specifically the contacts and messaging. Contacts should be portrait while messaging in landscape. That’s the only bugging thing I’ve got from N204! Love it.

    Excellent work on n204. 😉 Nice transition on the menu, very smooth. Gadget is quite an interesting replacement for Samsung widget. But it this editable by the way? Like changing/assigning new task/application on the pre-loaded icons.

    Also, I noticed that after installing OraTsu as an added home screen menu, Full page and Navigation bar menu’s buttom buttons are blank. I mean, incompatibility or bug? Hope you could sort this out if possible.

    Moreover, hope you could sort out as well the Nav3d and Task3d in n204.

  22. io metterei un opzione per regolare la sensibilità del microfono durante le registrazioni video…tipo se si è in discoteca a un concerto ecc… secondo me sarebbe davvero utile

  24. great work mate..one flaw.. data transfer not working.. searches the bluetooth device but when tapped or dragged on to the bluetooth on/off tab, cant establish connection..
    hey can u make da anti shake option using flash in camera..

  25. How about under-clocking i mean overclocking consumes a lot amount of power… 😯 😯 So when in underclock the phone is not in use,the CPU should automatically slows down to save power….!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

  27. On the Backup program can you have it show a progress bar?
    and on the JPEG Codecs Setting can it have like a * or a tick next to the current selected JEPG
    I think thats what Fahad was asking

    A suggestion for the Faenilator..

    1. Battery stretch… you could implement something like a hardware profile on PCs, i.e, screen dimmed, wifi off, 2G, vibration off, closing open all communications over internet (such as widgets and mail).

    2. Switch between 2G / 3G. I usually use the device in 2G only, but whenever I want to navigate and I’m not near a wifi spot I’ll switch to 3G, do my browsing and then go back to 2G. (What would be really cool if the browser would switch automatically to 3G when opened but back to 2G when off)

    First time I’m using your ROM, very impressive. Will donate. Question however, are you able to create a keyboard which has both alphanumerics and the ‘@’ on the same page… it’d be a great asset for those who write lots. The SlideIt keyboard is also really good, I think the above would be better.

    havent flash to n2o4 yet, Ill flash tomarrow.

    I had a really anoying problem with this device since I bought it. in audio playback, it stoped for like half a second, every six minutes…
    but when I overclocked it too 600MH, these stopes ( lags? hanges?) disapeared. every things works fine now.
    so, I think its quite good. even if the firmware is fast it self.
    about the faeniliator:
    1- camera and camcorder option. things which wont save in camera setting. like WDR.
    2- cpu clocking. I mean for real. the ability to change cpu clock, from 300MH to 650MH…
    3- key programing. I mean, if we could decide how to unlock the phone, it would be amazing. I for example, dont like to unlock it by holding the lock key. software unlock is better. and I like to lunch an app by pressing the lock key.
    4- changing the phone ID. I foune a swype keyboerd and ( as you may know.) it was for nokia devices onley. I couldent install it. if faeniliator can hide phone model from applications, or better, cheat them to think its another phone, it wolde be great. ( I know some softwares need the phone to be a specific model, but some dont. Im hoping to install the second group.)
    5- optione for every installed application.like changing how much resource itll use.
    another thing, that I think is much more dificult than the rest of my recomendations…
    can faenilator take control over time annd date in i8910? I had a nice application in my PC, cracklock. it was awsome. it could make every file, to see a desired date and time. for example, you have a trial version of an application. the trial version expires in 30 days. you can simply run cracklock, and make that trial version ( and all of its files.) to see the installation date. time is frozen for that application, and it never expires.
    I wanted to know if you can manage to doo the same thing. there are some application that need a date to instal. and ther are apps that expires. it would be great if faenilator do this.
    ( this was in the” option for every application” section.)

    PS:HX patcher can be installed on other FWs. I did it on HX-V4 ( hx pacher realised in HX-V7) and one of my friends did it on n2o3.
    I dontknow how you can find installation pacage, but I founde it in iranian forum I talked about before.

  32. I give a vote to all suggestions from Michael_Alitalia. This must be done 😯 ! I’m still switching from 2g to 3g and back again. Once it was like cant remember which fw, that when i opened browser it automatically switched to 3g.
    Is there any possible way that i can remove all T9 languages from list or directory so when i switch between slovak and english don’t need to go through all list. that will be useful ;-).
    What about porting music player from n97 or 5800 with equalizer, that will be amazing.

  35. Suggestion for a unique fanielator function: Change quickly back from int memory to sdcard after sdcard removal and reinstallation. This is really annoying when done manually and is necessary when storing messages on a microsd card. Would be awesome to do this with one button or even automatically! I’m guessing it’s just a preset setting somewhere?

  37. I agree on a matter of status indicator for enabled Faenilator options, it’s one of needed features.

    As for the rest:
    1. GSM/3G/Auto switch (as Michael_Alitalia suggested would be nice) and it would be faster then going to buried menu option to select it.
    2. Mic sensitivity with BOTH important options, not just one of them!!!
    3. Phone ID switch – i8910/n97/Vivaz (don’t know if there is an option in HX patcher – I never mounted that).
    4. Changing of letter ‘f’ from small to capital in program name (don’t know if it’s likable or not).

  40. Ciao Faenil, se mai dovessi fare un futuro update, credo che sarebbe meglio eliminare dallo scriptinit l’istruzione per formattare automaticamente E: con il solo format dei tre tasti! Per il resto……… tutto stupendo!

  43. Ciao Faenil, ho visto che nel faenilator ci sono diverse possibilità di sostituzione codec della fotocamera. Come mai non sono state messe quelle originarie Samsung, quella del G2 , XII XI2, o Ja1- Ja2?

    I settaggi del mocrofono in registrazione video vanno modificati, o sono già modificati nella rom?

    Change noise suppression to different enviroments (quiet, normal, party), 3D-navigation on/off, make an GUI interface for changing boot-gfx, sound files etc.

  45. ancora in questo telefono mi manca: la selezione multipla dei file in galleria e nei messaggi e il poter registrare le telefonate(che mi è vitale per il lavoro! ) 😀

    rotazione display…
    sarebbe bello poter trovare un modo di ruotare il display anche girando il cel a destra.. e poter scegliere rotazione destra/sinistra sul faenilator

  48. mi piacerebbe dal faenilator poter switchare tra quei 7-8 set esistenti di ssmsungtoolbar.mif….cambiare icone sotto con il faenilator…originali,n2o3,v8,tek,precision,n2o4 ecc..
