Hi guys at the moment I am playing around with vivaz libraries ( about 70files) , trying to include them in the omnia hd…
there are no good results at the moment, obviously I’ll keep you updated

I tried to import some .exe files from vivaz rom, but that makes the phone reboot…while dll are loaded with success, but the relating features don’t work anymore (because the dlls need the corresponding exes)…

There is a symbian native facebook app that has to be installed from the memory card according to this article; http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_vivaz-review-447p9.php. If you could take that off it, it would be amazing
In the actual firmware dumps we don’t have files from E, so that is not possible…
there are some stubs in the Z drive, but we need the installations from E…
is it possible to modify the precison of the touchsreen ,more like an iphone?
I must study all the “keys” files…but I don’t think you’ll find something like that, even if there will be something related to touchscreen…
the precision of the touch is a direct consequence of the quality of the hardware piece…

It can be software…but why would they make it less precise…there is no reason…

so i dont believe this is the limit of its hardware !!
i think the software for the touchsreen is also bugy or not set to the maximum
you’re right mate, that could be a software problem…I just think it’s probably a hardware limit in my opinion 🙂 I’d be very happy to discover the con 🙂

test this :
in the contact list when you scroll a little bit the it wil shift about 2 pixels !!! ( still not perfect but enough )
if you the the same in the menu then it will be 8 pixels in a little move !!!!

Of course I meant it is a software problem when I talked about drivers, but you can’t change drivers, that’s what I wanted to say…
you need someone to disassemble it, and reassemble the file…with the same addresses…
I’m not 100% sure, but that’s what it should be like…
maybe the touch mod can be done through txt editing only 🙂 who knows…

Do you think it would be possible to get the facebook app off of vivaz to work on our phones? With the memory card data?
I’m sorry I don’t know that app…I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t run…give me the files from the memory card, and I’ll give that a look 😉

Here is what i’ve found in Vivaz firmware, hope you can hack it, or whatever. Its want de signed, but i dunno how to do it. Standart trick with freesigner doesnt work.
