The time has come: THE QUEEN!

Time to celebrate a new birth, n2o4 – codename THE QUEEN, is now out for public! 🙂

The betatesting has been very long, I hope testers did not miss anything, even if some of them were a bit lazy 😀

So, here’s the changelog you have been waiting for so long! 🙂 I’ll only write the changes from n2o3, otherwise the list would be far too long 😛 lol 😀

CHANGELOG :

  • Java Certificates from SE Vivaz —> Enjoy the new facebook app! 🙂 DOWNLOAD FACEBOOK APP FROM SE VIVAZ
  • New method to start nav3d and task3d at boot without any 3rd party software! 🙂
  • WDR in camera is now set to ON by default! 😉 if you want it to OFF, you have to put it off each photo you take
  • FingerUse and Basic Homescreens icons can now be changed! Just change the .mif file in “C:/private\10207254\themes\271012080\270513751\271063148\1.0\sources” if you want to change Basic HS icons or change the file in “C:\private\10207254\themes\271012080\270513751\271068379\1.0\sources” to change FingerUse HS icons! 🙂
  • Two versions! One with the gadget in E which causes the widget hs bug (FOR THOSE WHO DON’T USE WIDGET HS AND USE A LOT OF FLASH HOMESCREENS) and another one without the mod (FOR THOSE WHO USE WIDGET HS AND DON’T WANT IT TO BE BUGGED!
  • ShakeToSpeaker patch, for those who want to switch to speaker in a call just by shaking the phone!
  • Prox patch for RomPatcher!
  • CHINESE AND DUTCH LOCALIZATION ADDED!!!
  • VoipAudioSrv is now installable! You can install Nokia versions of fring ! 🙂
  • International keyboard in every version!  :=
  • Thai keyboard modded by a Thai user! 😉 thanks for that ! 😀
  • “Nspeed” kastor effects, as voted by most of the users on the latest poll! 😉

  • DATE FORMAT is set to YYYY/MM/DD so that picture will be saved with YYYY/MM/DD name!!! (attention, this resets to dd/mm/yyyy if you make a hardreset, but just change it back from the Settings of the phone 😉 )

  • MEDIAPLAYER SCROLLING FIXED!! (I’ve written this before and it’s in HX-V8 also, but some of you may have skipped it, so I’m writing it again 🙂 )

  4. Chinese localisation has bug. Once change the input language become chinese, the sms will has problem and cannot go into telephony and the phone will restart.

  19. For those who had problems running the faenilator, (as I did at first), go in to Tools and start the application in there. You should find that it then opens fine from the homepage icon. 😀

    @ faenil – As someone else noted, the Bluetooth icon, (in the top wheel), doesn’t allow you to select it to enable/disable Bluetooth. Is that correct?

    I agree! Was about to flash n2o4 and noticed WDR always on!

    Worst thing is, it says “WDR always default on, and after every photo, must off” !

    Faenil, is it possible to change WDR to choice, as in, can default on or off?

  37. n2o4 is very very good, some things I change with HXPatcher, but it is nothings. But there are some bug which was absent in n2o3, when I choose language text input I can see ALL languages, in n2o3 – only languages wich was in language packs. And as I wrote earlier, not all the languages from the lang packs can be choosed as main phone lang 😥
    Is there any chance that language policy can be changed and become the same as in n2o3 😆 ?

  39. Faenil i ‘ve used n2o3 for more time ,now i use hx v8, because same functions are interesting (hxpatcher, miniqwerty)and i modify system sound and homescreen on to e:\).

    Now i would like to test n2o4 before use it, i ask u same questions:

    can i custom all system sound?

    can i: modify cell id, boost cell to 600 mhz and modify kinetic orientation for single apps?, if not, i must install hxpather or you ‘ve another solution?

    in changelog you report: “FingerUse and Basic Homescreens icons can now be changed!” but change are made in c:\ not in E:\ why not?

  41. Great rom so far, I wish changing homescreen was easier (at least provide the icons…)
    but WDR always ron just ruins everything, photos are muddy with a lot of digital noise, it’s unusable!

    I have installed base and the WDR is default ON. Then I installed localization Scandinavia. I found that WDR is default OFF in any Scandinavia localization languages. So if you think WDR bother then install localization and use English as default language and you will get WDR off as default.

    It’s strange, maybe you didn’t flash well, it should not be off

  48. caro amico, complimentoni per tale lavoro ma una cosa ti chiedo: sarebbe possibile implementare l’apertura veloce della cartella apps? Possiamo farlo noi? É un bug che mi dà costantemente fastidio e che ora potrei risolvere con la rom hx che però nn mi piace
