Ok guys it seems like there are no bugs found yet n2o4 and I’m really happy for that πŸ˜‰

I’ve read someone complaining about the WDR set to ON by default…so I’ll now make a poll, because changing that feature requires flashing again and uploading new versions

    there is no problem with WDR omg, it makes good pics , and if its to light or w/e then you can adjust it yourself ; WDR is good 😈

  3. Secondo me dovresti mettere un’opzione in FAENILATOR per scegliere se avercelo in automatico attivato o disattivato.

  4. If you are changing all the firmware again, in my opinion there are 2 major bugs to solve>
    1. First one was mentioned by you, the problem related with WDR. Switch it OFF by default. Who needs it, can activate it from camera settings.
    2. Its not a good option to restart the phone for switching the jpeg codec. Maybe you are able to solve it like hyperx in HX patcher, you change the codec without having to restart the device
    For me, n203 is still the best

    major bugs?? uh!?? a bug is a mistake…
    by the way…you have to restart the phone with hxpatcher too, it’s just that it doesn’t tell you.

  11. Anche io vorrei WDR su off,almeno lo attiviamo noi solo quando serve i certe situazioni,ma vedendo il sondaggio ci sono molti voti che lo vogliono attivo,non capisco il xchè!!

    Thanks for the great cooked FW.. =D Its really awesome…

    I was checking all of the jpeg codecs .. with VIVAZ codes pictures are blurry i guess WDR isn’t supporting VIVAS jpeg codecs but rest of them are really nice πŸ™‚ and pictures quality are awesome πŸ™‚

    I prefer WDR is ON by default.

    One thing i noticed that i am not able to change the ISO settings from the camera options .. it always on AUTO. i tried to change it from APPLICATION SETTING and its changed.. but in the camera options still the same “AUTO” with every setting..

    PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS.

    AS WHOLE YOUR FIRMWARE IS AWESOME..

    You can’t change ISO with WDR enabled…that’s camera…

  16. 1-The king is better VDR OFF by default (images are too bright open to ON VDR).

    2-Why are my icons missing from the initial screen, and the top and bottom (maybe because I deleted the icons from the gallery), and although it does not work … ?

    2) maybe because you formatted E drive…the icons should be in E:/icons

    le iconcine della home nn mi vanno monto a genio… nn so.. ma nn mi vogliano piacere… le mie preferite erano quelle che mettesti nella n2o2 (nn ricordo bene ma erano le prime in assoluto)
    e un altra cosa… il browser nn ha il flash player :'(

  20. OT: Firmware is amazing, but one BUG found. It’s A/V synchronization after pause when taking video. Any idea how to solve it? Thanks

    it has perfect sync if you don’t make more than 3 pause —> It’s impossible to get sync with more than 3 pauses.
    remember that the first video of each boot is unsynced.

    Just found out that in base (English) the WDR is default ON but if you but localization like Scandinavia (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish) then the WDR is default OFF. So overall I like my pics without WDR.

    e un altra cosa… quando riflasherΓ² la rom con wdr disattivo come faccio a nn perdere la posizioni delle icone nel menu, cartelle ecc? ho visto che nell’opsione backup c’Γ¨ la possibilitΓ  ma nn so come funzioni…
    e un altra cosa… come cambio e ridimenziono font senza fontrouter e fontrouterman?

Ciao,ottimo lavoro, solo essendo meno pratico di voi, ho gurdato un po il faenilator, qualcosa ho capito, ma non riesco a capire cambiando i codec in vivaz e via, cosa succede?, esce una scritta in inglese, ma non vedo cambiamenti, saresti cosi gentile da spiegarmi un po?, quando hai un po di tempo libero, certo,Ultima cosa, non lo so se si puo fare, io uso molto spb shell, perche’ mi metto tutte le icone sul desktop, ma adesso Γ¨ un peccato coprire la tua rom, la rosa Γ¨ stupenda,anche lΓ²a grafica, non potresti fare anche tu qualcosa del genere?, tipo la schermata iniziale quella va bene, poi girare altri due desktop con icone. un saluto, grazie

    una volta che clicchi sul codec, riavvii, ed Γ¨ fatto…non noterai differenze grandi nelle foto, Γ¨ normale

  27. Mfybe iy its only in my phone or its cos lang pack, but when select menu lang there are some fields witout any readable symbols (Chinese ?)

    When select input lang there are some empty fields, when its lelect the lang is rus

    When select input lang from keyboard, there are three empty field, selection set lang to rus

    In n2o3 in menu lang selection was full list of lang, and after install lang pack in input lang list, called from keyboard, was only lang from lang pack, in my opinion its mach better, easier fast find for needed lang.

    About international keyboard I dont know, its your baby, you choose. You can make some Poll about it, or to do two versions of fw.

    I understand that not so many people who use ukr lang in menu, if its very difficult to back it i will use rus, its non so problem, but if you will back it i`l be very happy πŸ˜€ As variant, yoΠ³ can make two base fw, one for europe, second for asia.

    In my opinion, large list of input lang is the most biggest bug of n2o4, in eng keyboard present oll symbols which can be needed.
    As variant, can you add to your faenilator menu to choose which lang will be in list of input lang it will be really unique thing πŸ˜€
    Or so, but I doubt that the idea of realistic, create lang pack for each lang separately, it wil containt menu lang, input lang and T9, users can combine which lang them need.

    And what about folder delay ?

  28. There is BUG in chinese localization. Once the input language change into chinese, the dialler will not be working, causing the phone to restart. And message editor cannot be used too. But once change into english for the input language, everything working fine.

    I got the same problem as well. Anyway, I’ve checked with Faenil about that problem, not him actually just a Chinese tester. I think he doesn’t realise this problem as well. Well, I’ve found out myself anyway. Yes, indeed. It is a minor bug. “You need change your phone language to Chinese before you can do any Chinese input.” πŸ™„ Attempt to input Chinese on English phone languange will cause the problem you mentioned. Overall, it is still a great firmware!

As I read on hx site what’s going on (it’s third time in two days that they have to flash) I really know why so many people supports him…Anyway thanks for the Queen πŸ™‚ And i have a question: will you be able to upgrade faenilator without reflash (I mean adding some stuff because I belive you will add some more things in it) ??

  39. Hi, I just installed the new n204 firmware and its perfect, no bugs 100% bug-free super excellent. Perfect working Samsung Touchwiz widget home screen!!!

    I do have a question, where in the options or menus do I need to go if I want to turn the WDR off or On (enable/disable) ?

I found an interesting thing, all files, that are needed for ukranian lang in menu is present in fw, for restore the lang need only add “93” to languages.txt, so please, faenil, if you will be compile a new version of n2o4, add please 93 to languages.txt. or there is some restriction, only 23 languages?
