Customize the Faenilator!

Do you think the background is too colourful? would you like to change the background with a picture of your own?

YOU CAN DO IT! 🙂

Apart from being completely UPGRADABLE WITHOUT REFLASHING, the faenilator also gives you the possibility to change the background!! 🙂
Just change the file in E:/data/faenil-graphics/     😀

there is one file for the portrait mode, and one for the landscape mode 😉 size is 360×640 for portrait, and 640×360 for landscape

Send me some sample customization and I’ll publish them in this post! 😉

A dir la verità un bug c’è ed anche piuttosto serio, è presente anche nella V8, quando si sfogliano le immagini nella galleria dopo un certo numero di foto, circa una decina compare il messaggio “memory full, close some applications…” ovviamente, inutile dire che non ho alcuna applicazione in esecuzione

  9. andrea mi chiedono, di farti mettere se puoi il fatto di una spunta vicino al codec che si ha in quel momento, così quando si rientra nel faenilator si vede con quale codec si ha sopra.

  12. @Simon73 forse perché io ne ho circa 650… deve esserci un limite nella galleria del symbian, anche un mio amico con l’omnia ed altrettante foto ha riscontrato questo problema

  14. Ciao faenil. Te lo chiedo di persona anche io, pure se la mia richiesta l’ha scritta poco fa taccolonemanu 😉 Magari, se è possibile, sarebbe più comodo implementare nel Faenilator un qualcosa che ci indichi quale codec è attualmente utilizzato per le foto.
    Inoltre ti chiedo se installando l’HXPatcher (esclusivamente per cambiare ID al telefono e far partire OviStore) possono andare in conflitto i codec che immette in C:/Private/EFB747A1 con quelli della tua n2o4 (che comunque non ho ancora trovato spulciando le varie cartelle 😀 magari mi dai una dritta per trovarli? 😉 )

  15. Why not Customize the Faenilator so it looks like – matches the other all the other settings, colors, fonts and options in the i8910 phone….

    Making it LOOK like a professional app. Right now it looks like its home-made.

    HXpatcher looks like its a default/original/retail app which came with the i8910 .

  16. Another nice idea would be if you could integrate the special backup system into the Faenilator and fix it so we do not need to manually copy/move any files at all before or after backup or restore.

    Make it automatic with 2 additional options in the backup .. One for Backup and other for Restore so it will be hassle free, fast, easy to use and no chance of making an error.

  18. Just wondering, I used to have an LGKC910i and that used to take good pics (albeit it did have xenon flash)…

    Is it worth using that CODEC aswell you think?…

  21. I wish someone would fix this Communities/Facebook shit! I’m out with my boys and can’t upload any photos to Facebook. Just keeps going back to the photo page. Have checked all possible fixes, like length of file name, but still not working!

  24. guys, plz i need help when i call someone or whenever receive any call the screen does not lock automatically. i have to manually lock it. coz of this sometimes call gets muted r loudspeaker get switched on,is it a bug. n2o3 was not having this bug can any one help me. is their any setting for this. where is faenil. i think he is out with his girlfrnd. ❓ :mrgreen:

  25. ciao faenil,ho un “piccolo” problema: quando avvio il faenilator mi viene una schermata nera e poi rotorno dopo 4 secondi alla schermata applicazioni,perchè?

  26. Scusa Faenil,io ho cambiato le due immagini nella cartella (con le giuste dimensioni entrambe..) ma ora non mi appare nessuno sfondo.
    Ho anche riavviato ma nulla..
    Qualche idea??

  27. Ah ecco qual era la magagna,grazie per perdere tempo dietro la mia dabbenaggine! 😛 (ma,in fondo,giustificata solo dal fatto che è la prima volta in assoluto che monto una tua rom) 🙂
    Ora mi resta solo da ricordarmi che nome avessero le due immagini principali che ho eliminato….. =_=

  28. Ragazzi per caso qualcuno di voi potrebbe essere così gentile da dirim come andrebbe rinominata la foto per il background in landscape per il faenilator????Sinora ho trovato solo il nome per la foto in portrait (backCam.jpg)

  29. @Xander: ti consiglio di spostare le foto sul pc ogni mese.. io lo faccio sempre.. piu di 300 nn le tengo mai… altrimenti si rallenta il sistema… nn è cmq un bug della n2o4.. ma di symbian in generale credo…

  32. @altros. the comment that u have given was given by my frnd 2 months back when i suggested him to switch to faenil from hx roms coz he is v responsive. he said wait n watch, hx was also very responsive when he started rom cooking
