Answer to most asked questions

  1. To open DIALER, press Menu button, and then Green HW button (the one you use to call) and the dialer will appear! 🙂 It’s not possible to open the dialer from a flash homescreen
  2. If you want nav3d or task3d, read here , but I’m working on new method which is not fully working yet
  3. To use the buttons in the top bar of the Special Homescreen (bluetooth, wifi, clock) you have to keep you finger pressed for 1 second on the button! There is a timer!
  4. For those saying “faenilator does not start” : as written in the changelog, faenilator is a QT software, this means that you’ll need to install qt libraries with the QT INSTALLER to use it! There are no problems at all with the faenilator icon in the homescreen 😉
  5. I DO NOT POST COMMENTS ON MY BLOG I ONLY ANSWER TO YOUR COMMENTS SO IF YOU HAPPEN TO READ COMMENTS BY faeniI, IT’S NOT ME!   7. hey got the solution for bluetooth icon on n204 new homescreen. no need to press and hold it. it waste our time by doing so. so here is the solution install BT SWITCH a freeware app. now ur bt homescreen icon works perfectly. no need to press n hold now. just single press,it gets on, another press it gets off with ease. its a freeware, so here i upload it. its only 11 kb so dnt get afraid

    Inoltre ho visto che in tutte le ROM modificate all’avvio esce la scritta i8910 HD, c’è un modo per riavere la scritta Omnia HD??

    ROMs fantastic. Just one quick question as this may be a bug or just my failure to see.

    I installed the n204 no gadget, then added powerboot and 3dtask etc…

    But with this theme, it does not display whether your on 2G or 3G just shows you the antenna bars…

    Is this a bug? or is this part of the theme?

  14. Faenil, I suppose this is a question thread, so I will ask:

    1) How come you include WDR as default ON…??? WDR is only useful in lowlight! Most of the time we are using the cam to shoot outdoors~~~~~ 🙄

    For this reason alone, I cannot flash to n2o4…. 😕

  15. @Ashtan WDR isn’t just for low light it is for balancing the difference between two different light contrasts
    eg shadows outside on a bright day
    There is more to it. Google and find out

    Friend, try taking an well lit indoor shot with WDR on, and one with WDR off.
    Which one produces the more washed out picture?

    WDR on during outdoor shots also increases the noise

  22. Very much enjoying n204! Been changing the icons on the flash homescreen to suit Opera mobile and Ndrive. Would be nice to also add a few more to include specific contacts and extra programs, but not necessary considering its only a few extra button clicks to get to them. Gives me a chance to show off the speed it opens folders.

    I do have one suggestion. That is can you please create a rotating keyboard that changes automatically between T9 for portrait and then qwerty when the phone turned on its side? Just a suggestion if you have the time … :mrgreen:

    Anyone else like this idea?

    To open the dialer you have to press the menu button (middle hardware button) and then the call button to the left the menu button. To hang up hit the right hardware button – the three buttons on the bottom of your i8910. Faenil explained this in his post of Q/A about n204. If you hit the call button when on the homescreen it would just show you the numbers you have dialled. It may seem weird, but that is because of the flash homescreen and no other way to do it.

    Hope that helped.

    bellisimo questo nuovo firmware! Dopo aver flashato, ho installato in sequenza l’ultimo OviMaps (che mi ha messo un mare di librerie), poi il tuo QTinstaller e poi WikiTude. Però il Faenilator non parte.
    Forse il problema è di OviMaps o Wikitude che pure installano varie librerie, e forse hanno sovrascritto qualcosa?

  28. aggiornamento: ho reinstallato il tuo QtInstaller, ora faenilator parte, ma in ogni bottone tutte le scritte appaiono “ffffff” o “xxxxxx”…

    consigli?

  29. piccolo bug: visualizzando le foto a tutto schermo nella galleria, il nome del file appare disallineato, ossia il bordo nero che contorna la scritta bianca non è sovrapposto correttamente ma spostato di 1 millimetro

  32. hi faenil..the chinese localize got bug.. in in new message when u wan to type a word the messaging will exit..in note,calender entry ect all are same..does it mean the chinese localize does not support input chacrater?

    It’s working perfectly…just tried on my phone…maybe you have some files left in your mmc, delete Private, resource, sys, system folders from your microsd

    i have to uninstall “n2o3_IWantNav3D”, and then install “n2o3_IWantNav3D”. they can not install together.
    or just install “n2o3_IWantTask3D&NAV3D” to have both of them!
