    Just put each game in their own folder in Games folder. This will speed things up. Not an ideal situation but as said before that’s how Symbian works.

Hey faenil dear…I’m in deep trouble…due to high voltage, my charger got damaged and the screen of my phone gone dim…I contacted my nearest samsung care and they said they can fix it as I have still 7 months warrenty left. but you know, I’m using your firmware…so if I reflash my phone to my previous local official samsung firmware for the time being and take my phone to them will they know that I used some unofficial firmware?? I mean will I get the warrenty service then??

    Note: In my area the samsung care checks the software side to detect any warrenty voiding activity as well.

    well they shouldn’t…even though, it’s worth to try 🙂
    Reflash it to official and then make hard resets (both, hardware (3buttons) and with code)

  9. Hey man what are you think about removing quick office and adobe reader ? i have some ideas maybe you cant make rotation home screen ,contact and app manager ❓

    I won’t remove adobe and quickoffice I think…because lots of people use them…about rotation mod, it will be included in the next fw 😉

    I am currently using n2o2, i just want to know if battery performence is depends on boot loader also ( mine is Dec 2009 ). for some reason my battery hardly comes for 1.5 day. should i need to update my bootloader also . if yes from where i can download and flash… i was previously using HX 3.29 ( same problem )

    l love the 3d icons in Home screen really very much ..

    1.5day is enough depending on your usage…I charged it yesterday evening, 18hours passed, not even 1 bar lost on n2o2…
    try updating modem to JB1 version 😉 you can find it in the Download LITv2 page 😉

  12. thanks for your quick responce… if i flash now to modem to JB1 , should i need to flash n2o2 again or no need flash mean will that format c:/ and e:/ and will that be ok to have JB1 bootloader and n2o2 as firmware ( sorry for dumb question )

    actually the modem should not format any drive…(I’m not 100% sure 🙁 I usually do it when I flash the fw, so I never cared about it 🙁 )
    JB1 is not the bootloader, it is the modem part 😉

    It must say: Great ROM BUT UltimateSMS for threaded sms is not working while it did work in HX-V4-SPEED-SE.

  20. I saw on the i8910 user forum that you msn with another cooker and exchange ideas.
    If that’s not the case…my bad.
    The problem with UltimateSMS is that I can’t use it. It does install but when I try to open OPTIONS or HIDE, it does not react.
    Also QuickInfo does not work either. Could you please download QuickInfo and check if it does work on your phone. Perhaps I didn’t do a hard reset…I can’t remember. But downloading and installing QuickInfo is the fastest option I can think of.

  21. I found the problem with QuickInfo –> It needs to be installed on C:/
    But I still can’t use UltimateSMS, perhaps you can look into that.
    BTW. I flashed to the latest ROM from liamstears. 😳
    I don’t really notice any speed difference in your ROM and the one from him, aside from the choice of UI and such.
    But when you release your newest ROM I will switch back to you. For now I flashed enough in the last two days. 😀

  22. Oh, yeah…I tried UltimateSMS on the firmware from liamstears but I have the same problem there.
    It’s the only thing that doesn’t work on both of you ROM’s.
    I’m excited to see how your new ROM looks!

    ok I’m happy now, this is means it is not a bug…
    1) UltimateSMS is bugged
    2) UltimateSMS doesn’t work on Asian roms 🙂

Hi faenil, i have been using your n202 firmware until HYPER X released his new firmware version HX V4.After a few days of using it, i found the media browser and gallery in the application menu is not that sensitive.most of the times i had to press 2-3 times to get it open.Also i noticed that camera is a bit better on your firmware,especially with night shots even after your shocking findings with jpeg codec.i don’t want to criticize and compare both of your firmware.i respect both of your work and keep it up.Now i am back 2ur firmware and decided 2stick with ur firmware.i got a suggestion for you on your next firmware.
    if you can include the dictionary on your firmware that would be great.Also if you can eliminate those built in component error(eg:some themes,java installation etc),certificate error,not able to install and not compatible with the system error would be really appreciated.
    The other thing is i am able to install need for speed shift game on my mobile.when i start that application it would take you in to the main menu and when i select the new game the phone got stuck and can’t do anything further.so if you can overcome these problems would be great.what all we expect from this phone is to install almost all of the nokia applications and works perfectly with out any trouble.This is a great phone and all we lack is the minimal application.i think you can overcome the above problems man.you can do it buddy,u have full support from our community.so we are all looking forward to release an excellent firmware from you soon.take your own time and do it in a different way.I think i have written so much,sorry that is all about the feeling of our GREAT PHONE I8910 HD.Once again thank you very much for your effort and keep cooking.

    I would like to request something which other cookers simply avoided for no reason at all (maybe u will be the first one 😉 ), is it possible to skin the in-build mp3 player so that when one applies a theme, the player changes as well??? Im soo frustrated having a beautiful theme but going in the in-build mp3 as see the ‘universal’ one, so hideous.
    If im not asking too much, can you make it ‘look’ at least like the 5800 mp3 is?

  27. Maestro! Do you know what causes the periodic 1 second high volume bug? When the other parties voice gets amplified for one second periodically ending up in an ear disturbing short sound every 30 seconds or so. People say it happens with many roms, you need to disable call duration display, but this doesn’t work for me. What is your opinion? Thanks!

  32. Ciao faenil, ho provato sia la v4 di hx che la tua e ho deciso di tenermi la tua, a me sembra più veloce nei cambi di pagina, ed è poi quello che mi interessa di più! L’unica cosa che ho notato è ogni tanto faccio fatica ad entrare nelle impostazioni…tocco il tasto ma s’impalla lì oppure è lento nell’entrare.
    Anyway cpmplimenti per il continuo sbattimento e non solo con la cucina ma con le critiche… fregatene e dimostra (se ne hai bisogno) come stai facendo con i risultati.

    basta aggiungere una cartella vuota nel menu, in modo che compare la barra laterale…

    – The above problem is reported by more and more people. Please have a look on it. Thanks!!!

    – There is some difference between English only and localized Faenil Roms. For example in english only the icon for exit fullscreen works fine in landscape mode in integrated web browser, in hungarian/polish rom, this button doesn’t work in the same situation.

    and is multitouch a hardware thing or a software … it would be very useful if this fone had multitouch which wud speed up typing … but if its not possible ..no point fussing …

    btw, multitouch is a software problem…

    faenil instaling this firmware no need any work should do before flash
    2-need install modem file or its enough just installing n2o2 & then if need where is the modem file ?
    whats your idea about saving battery in your new fw?

    no need for any other things to install n2o2, just make hardreset before flashing
    to save battery, change settings in Settings-> Connectivity…
    set the first to only GSM, then set packet data to When Needed (2nd one) and set Video Sharing to OFF

  38. Hey there!!! Awesome firmware…but the problem is that I cannot get to use fring!!! it starts and then tries to connect with WLAN and bang, QUITS!!! i use fring for skypeout calls!!! I hope you can help me, as this is really dreadfull for me!!! i used to call normally when on orignal samsung firmware when i bought omnia hd last may!!!!

    I am wondering if it is possible – I saw it in Nokia 5530 with symbian60v5. When you type a message, or type anything, if you hold your mobile horizontally you get qwerty keyboard. I you hold it vertically you get alphanumerical keyboard…very very helpful

    Your firmware is great.
    But problem with gallery. You wrote, that gallery look only in \images and \videos, but I have searched everywhere. Why?

    it’s not gallery, it’s mediabrowser which only looks in \images and \videos…

    we can’t tell the gallery where to look, we can only tell it where NOT to look, by excluding software folders
