Remember Sev7en? He was the first world cooker for i8910, joined right after by me.

A great guy, very friendly and passionate about what he was doing for the community. I still talk to him from time to time, and here’s what I discovered: he has opened the main italian forum about Alienware products, named AlienwareItalia!

i8910tuning v1.03 out to the world for non-i8910 too! Updated!

Here’s the update for i8910tuning app! I have also published on some forums to let Nokia users and Symbian^3 users use it too! 😀

THE SOFTWARE IS IN BETA STAGE FOR NON-i8910 PHONES. SO IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE BETA PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE, INSTALL IT, AND REPORT WHEN YOU FIND BUGS

READ INSTRUCTIONS IN THE ZIP FILE BEFORE INSTALLING THE SIS PACKAGE, THANKS.

Changelog from N2o5 i8910tuning version:

– Added orientation settings in Utilities  —-> Change Portrait/Landscape/Portrait-Landscape of the softwares you like, you can also add new settings for new apps, not just the shown ones like in HXPatcher, please test this.
– Added Delete temp files in Utilities —–> This should delete files in C:/Private/1020735b, please check
– Added N8 UserAgent —> Does this work in OviStore? please check

It has so many features, I’ll try to explain them all, shortly:

DO NOT USE IT ON OTHER PHONES, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE THINGS IT MIGHT CAUSE.
– UserAgent change —> change default browser useragent
– FirmwareID change —> change firmware id, the one shown in Device Management…used in i8910 to make OviSuite recognize it as a nokia phone
– ONLY FOR i8910 Camera screen —> Change focus mode for camera and videocamera, delete empty folder created by the camera applications (for i8910), enable/disable noise suppressor (ONLY FOR i8910, DO NOT USE ON NOKIA)
– ONLY FOR i8910 Codecs screen —> To change JPEG Codecs for camera
– Kinetic Scrolling screen —> To change Kinetic scrolling values
– ONLY FOR i8910 CPUClock screen —> To Overclock/Underclock cpu
– ONLY FOR i8910 Microphone screen —> To change the sensitivity of i8910’s microphone, for videorecording
– Utilities screen —> Orientation settings (to change orientation mode of softwares: portrait only, landscape only, portrait-landscape modes), Delete Gallery Cache function, Delete temp files in C (deletes files in C:/Private/1020735b), Call Summary function to enable/disable call summary at the end of the voice call, LowLight to lower backlight of the display (ONLY FOR i8910)

The images selected were not the best ones generally speaking, but they’re the ones who suit my needs best! 😉

working on i8910tuning & n2o5 reboot loop

Hi guys 🙂

I’m adding some features to i8910tuning app 😉 I think this will be its final release anyway 😉

Thank you very much for commenting, I’m looking into making your wishes come true, even if some requests are just impossible to accomplish 🙂

About n2o5: since many of you had problems with this “reboot loop” I have never experienced, I want to look into this, because it seems to be so random and only happens to some people! 🙂

So, please, I NEED A WAY TO CAUSE THE REBOOT LOOP! If you know the steps to force n2o5 into a reboot loop, please LET ME KNOW, and I’ll look into that and solve it asap! I need steps which will ALWAYS cause the reboot loop. I need something like:

“Make hardreset. Flash n2o5. Install n2o5musthave. Install this and this. You now have reboot loop”

This is very important, I want to make the firmware the most stable, because it’s probably the last firmware you’re going to get from an i8910 firmware cooker 🙂
