no way, as I said, that means making a double for every package.
and there is no reasone not to use ks menu, it only has some glitches with 3dnav (just keep finger on the screen while scrolling and it’s solved)…nothing else..

that’s a clear example of human looking for adaptation :)…I needed to shorten the upload time and the weight of the firmwares dramatically, coz with n2o2 I spent afternoons just uploading…and there you go, the light switched on in my brain 🙂 modular firmware! 😀

I dont think, after all yor hard work, any body would mind if you go “missing” for a while to hit they study. If anyone did mind, then they have absolutely no respect for the 100’s of hours of work you have put in to this. Got to be done.

thanks man…btw just to let you know I worked about 300-400hours in the last two months on this firmware…not kidding, 5-8hours/day , except saturdays, and I skipped the last 2 weeks of lessons…If I would need to make n2o3 now, it would take 2 hours…coz everything is ready now…but it wasn’t before 😀

Faenil ho un problema e tichiedo di aiutarmi. Ho flashato senza problemi con W X.la tua n2o2, Volevo flashare la 3 ma non riesco ad avere più la schermata blu di bootloader. Al suo posto ho metà schermata inferiore con la scritta samsung … e metà schermata superiore con sfondo rosso e una pccola scritta bianca lampeggiante “download modem”. In che cosa ho sbagliato? forse la primo flash dovevo inserire un modem ( cosa che non ho fatto)? Ti sarei garato per una soluzione del problema.

Just flashed new fw with Hungarian lang pack and I have some questions:
1 intntnl t9 is okay, but why is the intntnl language choice as the phone lang? Doesn’t it take up much space?
2 dialler has the alphanumeric style in n2o3 base but it is not there in hun lang pack. Do you know why?
apart from this, n2o3 rocks. keep up rocking man, you’re by far the best of them all!

1) Languages are only in the list, the are not present in the rom… If you choose any of those languages, menu language won’t change 😉 🙂 I need the big list in n2o3_base for the localization patches to work, but yes you’re right, I could have deleted them in the international version, where you don’t need to apply localization packs … 🙂 by the way, that’s not a problem 😉 it doesn’t take space, and there are no other languages installed, only keyboards 😉
2) the alphanumeric is due to the localizations files…hungarians has no alphanumeric 🙂 tell it to samsung 😛

Hi Faenil, i just changed from HX to N2o3 because i think it’s the better one. The only thing i miss from HX is the “klick” sounds from the keyboard instead of the “beeps”. Is it possible to change these with an “sis-file” or a patch?

Cant get 3D nav and 3D task mngr to work. Also, after installing some apps(Opera mobile, Asphalt), it seem my Kastor effect is not working anymore. Any thoughts?
Follow the guide I posted for 3dnav and it will work…
if you’ve already followed the guide, make sure that you install the second patch in the same drive you have installed powerboot on 🙂
about kastor effects, just check they’re enabled, and disable c2z if you have that on

in hx fws music player has a nice blue skin but also don´t change incons or background by changing themes, except he changes it and we flash^^… maybe if you want to and have some time you can look into but ohterwise it´s not that we can´t live with the standart…

No C2Z is not active, I tried to activate C2Z with older Wireless txt file but nothing after restart, then I extracted txt from your sis and now it’s ok 🙂

I haven’t tried the Nokia Facebook app’ yet but I did get as far as uploading using the Communities app’ and so I will test later and let you know.
I’d also like a .sis to remove the noise suppression. It sounds so much better without it being activated.
But I don’t care about anything at the moment because my beloved Chelsea have just won the FA Cup. Get in there. 😛

Components is build in” I tried 30 times to install.I had also first version of n2o3, then HW reset and flashed your new fixed FW. But still I cannot install this.Rompatcher is Open4all and Instllserver switched on.If you can some help me-I will be very happy 🙂 So sorry for my English- I’m not English originaly 😀 Very thank you!Good luck 😉 !

did you delete the folder I created in menu? can you see the side bar in menu?
i moved the game folder into application.thats all i have done
that’s why it’s not working anymore…just create a new folder to have the responsiveness back…

se ti può esser d’aiuto per capire cos’ha che non và nella connessione a pacchetti con la modalità GSM 2g ho provato anche il firmware hyperxv4 che se non sbaglio è anche quello un misto di jc1 e jd1, come il tuo n203 niente da fare.
con n202 tutto ok.
ho provato su 2 omniahd diversi
ho provato sia con i servizi di default che quelli inviati dal mio operatore 3 mobile dal sito internet.
ho provato facendo hard reset e ho provato su tutti i telefoni con tutti i firmware sia modem b1 che c1.
sembra proprio un bug alla connessione 2g
la cosa è molto strana…perchè alla fine la rom, cioè quasi tutti i file di sistema, sono gli stessi nella n2o2 ed n2o3, usando entrambi la JC1…per cui è strano…boh…bisognerebbe fare delle prove…ma io non ho la 3…
To Dragoush: it is no necessary to have 10 or more icon in main Menu. I also deleted the Game icon (sorry Faenil for this 😀 ) Try to tap your Settings, Samsung or Gallery icon litle bit more on left side – it will be everytime done ok 😉 I use this “method” and no more problem 😉 So sorry for my English to all! But I hope you understand, what I want to explain 😉
that is the first thing I said before applying the folder trick…
it is just that the tapping area is different in 5800, that’s why you have to tap on the left side of the “rightside” icons 🙂

Just a quick note (I did not flash (yet) because of the hours needed for reinstalling all that beloved applications): GREAT idea providing a version with plain white standard icons (at least that’s what I suspect after reading the description) on the home screen: They just look more modern and blend perfectly with every theme color or background used.
And it’s perfect for Pizeros “Earth” theme, I like very much: Working in both upright and landscape mode, transparent, “floating” symbols (just look at the orange icons of the SMS editor), and most important: NO negative impact on battery life ! (People with battery problems – try this.) 💡
