Skype attack, last chance

While me, hyperx, pnht, and who else is working to make skype work on our phone (we all got skype to install, but not to make calls), I suggest doing another thing:

why not attacking skype on its own field? IT’S FORUM!

Ok, seems like skype developers do not care about our phone…they keep on providing answers which are missing technical explanations, so why not letting them know that we are so many here waiting for its software to work on i8910?

    I´ve posted the comment below and they have erased it, if they can´t handle the truth how do they handle with software for our phone?

    When do Skype will be available for our phones (i8910 HD)?
    Is skype inferior to other software companies that have similar software that works well, or are skype developers just lazy, there are only two possibilities for this lack, because i do not believe that is impossible for you to make skype available for our phones.
    Come on make the magic happens, there are many i8910 users in several foruns complaining the lack of skype compatibility,
    Come we believe that you can do it, if so go back to school to learn how to do it.

  8. Heyy!!! skype officially supports SE satio, VIVAZ etc. but still not samsung, does anybody know the working of fring?? cant that be integrated into the firmware??

    Fring is working like a charm in our i8910, but you have to use moded version of fring. I am using my SIP account with Fring and getting voice quality as good as normal GSM Call….now just awaiting N2O4….good luck for Faenil!

    Yeah dear i know of fring working on our handset but it no more supports skype. My point was if a small software can make voip work in the current fimware then there might be a way to integrate that setting into the main firmware!!!

    Anyhow with the response on the skype forum i’m sure its gonna get good.

  15. n2o4 – you will be able to install unmodified Fring for Nokia XM5800 with VoiP Services 2.0, and like usual use SIP with it. You just can;t use Skype account with it anymore. You can always use Nimbuzz for IM and Skype chat – seeing we’re still lacking proper and working VOiP or Skype…

    so it seams like they’re not going to work with you and hyperX for the supporting of the i8910. we can only hope that they themselves will support the divice, or that the two of you can work it out by yourselves.
