Beta1 starts today! Info and news

First of all, thanks to all of you who have sent me requests for being a betatesters via email and via comments, there have been many requests and I hope this will turn into a more stable firmware 😉

Today it’s betatesting time! All betatesters will receive an email during the afternoon (in 4 to 6 hours from now) with all the needed info to start their job 😉

One thing I forget to mention in the last post:

IF YOU’RE A BLOGGER OR A mobile-related FORUM ADMIN/MODERATOR, YOU CAN HAVE ACCESS TO BETATESTING! JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH SOME EVIDENCE AND I’LL ADD YOU TO THE BETATESTERS’ LIST.

  2. Che bello! NN vedo l’ora! Faenil ho visto che è uscita una nuova versione di swype. Hai possibilità di adattarla al nostro i8910 versione international come quella che hai fatto alcuni mesi fa?

    1. angelo sto creando io un pacchetto con tutte le lingue per l ultima swype…presto la posterò su qualke forum e di sicuro la segnalerò a faenil se non c ha penasato ancora lui….quindi tra poco sarà tutto pronto!

        1. sempre meglio disinstallare…tanto si perodono solo 2 minuti! comunque mi manca solo il pacchetto con le lingue nordiche e ho finito….le posterò per stasera! Questa versione è davvero più veloce rispetto le altre!

    Ho un problema con LCG Jukebox con… tutti i firmware… qualsiasi versione istallo dopo settimane che la uso si inizia a chiudere e appena carico una cartella con la musica ricrasha….. e nemmeno disistallando e reistallando si risolve… devo istallare, rimuovere, istallare un altra versione e poi reistallare ancora la versione precedente… :S

        1. come immaginavo… vabbè nn ho ne soldi ne modo per pagare la licenza… per questo mi sono impegnato un casino a fare gli sfondi per la n2o5.. nn c’era in palio una licenza? xD

          cmq avrei un altro piccolo consiglio…
          è possibile… togliere il doppio tap quando si sta scrollando ad esempio nei mess e si vuole uscire? è brutto vedere che mentre si scrolla, uscendo, prima si blocca lo scroll e poi esce >.<

    1. il video mostra che sull’omnia hd è stata fixata lo scorrimento della galleria immagini… non so se poteva interessare per implementarlo sulla futura n205

  15. faenil ok ho scaricato un file exe da 103 MB , ora lanciandolo carica la tua rom sull’I8910 in automatico ? Non ho capito bene l’installazione come avviene ?

  19. Do you people really think that’s the real hyperx posting? It’s just some tool and whoever thought he was the real one is an even bigger tool. Just ignore.

Ciao Lukas, sfortuna che anche in questa versione di tastiera, tenendo premuto sulle vocali nella barra superiore (e,i,o) per far uscire la barra con con piú opzioni (accentati o con simboli vari), la tastiera lampeggia e alla fine viene digitato il simbolo secondario che appare sul tasto: per la “o” scrive una parentesi aperta “(” .. (questo errore accade in modalitá portrait -> in modalitá landscape il problema non sussiste!).
        La vocale “a” invece (sulla seconda riga a partire dall’alto invece funziona!? (sia in “landscape” che in “portrait”).

        Spero ci sia una soluzione!

  25. Ma Faenil che fai ci sparisci cosi???….ora sono gia un paio di giorni di testing,io tel’ho sempre detto che e’ gia tanto che lo fai e che il tempo non deve essere un tuo problema,pero dacci qualche newsssss

  26. So you know they are doing nothing. It’s a step forward in testing too… Pick testers only if you trust them. I think some of them did stepped forward only to be able to play around andnot to test it properly.

    I’m just sorry they are not doing what they are supposed to do, like some did with n2o4 (great effort from many testers on that one).

    So you know now who’s not entering the second round… at least that!

  27. Hi faenil, thanks for your hard job. I have a question for you: it’s impossible play video recorder by n2o4 with media player or playstation 3. This is a codec incompatiblity problem. this was possible with a original samsung firmware. Do you think will be possible to solve this problem with the new version?

    1. What problem? I don’t own PS3 nor I would try to play my movies without conversion on it. Yhen again, I do convert all my movies to appropriate formats.

      AFAIK, dafault windows media player is a lousy multimedia player – get yourself something better and you’ll find every movie is playing all right (ZoomPlayer, MPC HC etc etc). Hell, you can even use VLC and it will play everything…

    Sarebbe bello se si potesse avere la modalita’ wdr di default nella fotocamera. Altra cosa, per i filmati in slow motion e’ possibile aumentare la risoluzione del video? Se la bassa risoluzione e’ dovuta a un problema di Mhz del processore, magari si puo’ sfruttando l’overclock.

    It would be great to have the wdr function on by default in the camera app. Another thing is: while filming in slow motion is it possible to increase the resolution? If the low resolution is a problem due to the CPU speed, would it be possible to increase it using overclok?

  29. hy faenil,enought with the compliments,you’re borred allready.how is going with the faenilator?even a beta might you post it,its not an army that help you,therefor,bugs are allowed.you keep us breathlly.
