n2o4 is growin up well 🙂

It will have some special features I still haven’t talked to you about, and it will maybe have a new software for playing around with mods, we’ll call it “modder”, I still haven’t found a nice name for it 🙂

Moreover, on 22th of July I ordered QT FOR SYMBIAN, a book about qt programming on Symbian platform…
It has arrived yesterday and I have already started my studies 🙂

I hope that book will be useful, I have something very special in my mind…

    Qt is the future for both Symbian and we oHD users 🙂

    I’m also trying Hello World in Qt but have yet to find ideas on developing something useful 😐

    I wan’t to propose to tweaks for n2o4

    – Can you make the backlight dim more at night? Before I go to sleep I listen to music, but the backlight gives so much light that when I want to change a song my eyes hurt!

    – Can you fix kinnetic scroll in mediaplayer?, and also speed, I have 2100 songs and scrolling and clicking is very slow. If it ain’t possible just forget that I asked it!

  13. Serbian is hard to implement on CFW level due to an old and outdated base firmware, but Serbian t9 and full qwerty can be imported – downside is texts are going to be very short (can’t recall well, but it should be 76 characters cause of those accented letters such language is using).

    As for n2o4 – I would advise not to rush things just so it could be ‘on schedule’. Do it good, bug free and take your time as you see fit. Teasers are welcome, yes, but bear in mind those can be counterproductive sometimes.

  22. u r doing a great work. i m using n203 from the day it was out. i always try hyperx. hyperx v5 is comparable to ur n203. i tried hyperx v7 too but its too buggy. of all the hyperx versions, v5 is the most stable one. in v7, he did a great job but unfortunately it ws nt stable for me. i m looking forward for ur release. take ur time. thr is no need to hurry. i just want n204 to be stable like n203

  30. Hyperx released the V8 and in his post he recommended the QT from ur FW n2o3~~
    Great Job~~

  31. It is cause One Click QT installer from Faenil and Madhacker is a complete stand alone solution and is based on latest Symbian QT beta available. Also, there are no problems with permissions with this installer and it should be easilly updated later on, or it can even be uninstalled without hitch.

    read hx site and you will know that its out but again with hell of bugs….this the first time i dont want to give hx-v8 a try after having lots and lots of issues in v7….i m just waiting n2o4 at the moment.

  42. Hi. Just flashed to N2o3 after trying hx v7 & v8. Too many bugs there for me. This N2o3 is really fast and for me I can’t find any bugs yet. WOW!! 😆 I wait in anticpication of N2o4 being better than this. :mrgreen: Makes my i8910 a useable phone again. Many Thanks.

  43. Well, of course the HX FW has more bugs than [put any of faenil’s FW here]. Guess why that is? Exactly: There is a shitload of tweaks, added funtions and the likes to be found in Andys FW. He’s been tampering with about everything to meet everyones expectations. All the ppl demanding stuff 24/7. Chances that you break stuff while working on everything are so fucking high, you wouldn’t believe it. Faenil did a great job with his FW, fast and reliable. But where his FW is reliable, it lacks many of the functions HX already has. HX on the other side has the functions but isn’t nowhere as reliable as n2o3. I didn’t mean to be HX-fanboi here but I like many of the newly introduced functions of HX and that’s why I will keep using that FW for the time being. Most bugs will be cleaned when Andy and his team finally got the time to do so. No wonder he released it hasty again. Ppl have been crying already to get their hands on the new FW….

    Allora come fai controllare che tutto vada bene prima
    di caricare il FW sulla rete?
    Io do un picolo consiglio a chi prova un nuovo FW
    di leggere tutto quanto riguarda tale FW e di fare
    pazientemente delle prove prima di gridare:BUUUUUUUUG!!!!
    e dire adesso che faccio?

  47. 😐 i m hx user since hx-v2, and respect his work too….but lately realize that hx roms are not as stable as faenil roms….thats the reason i switch back to n2 roms….more reliable, stable and balanced in functions…..thats the reason faenil not releasing his roms every after 15-20 days….

  49. Lol fevves I see your reputation follows you wherever you go…you are one of the biggest trolls i’ve ever witnessed their existence of, in any kind of forum i’ve been, if not THE biggest.

    Keep up the good work faenil, it’s nice that you copy HX’s idea making your modder, cause competition can only bring us users a better result. Nothing is copyrighted so it’s ok to do so I guess. I’m using HX V7 cause it is very stable and n2o3 has no features at all even though it’s stable. It’s not even comparable to V7. V8 is buggy tho featurewise is the best, so now i’m waiting either for n2o4 if you manage to put any interesting feature in there, or the next HX release which will for sure be like V8 but with the bugs fixed. You are still behind HX in rom cooking, however I admire your passion and effort. Good luck.
