About swype beta 2

Hi guys, I received many emails about people who were able to use the new swype beta so my question to the people who got it working is:

did you upgrade from an older swype beta, or did you make a new install?

If I make a new install, these are the problems I get on n2o4 and on v11:

1) All apps in apps folder disappear (I know what causes this, and it is a file of the new beta)

2) Swype does not work…

  1. Using HXv11 and it is working for me. I modded the original package from NokiaBetaLabs by adding the 3 Dutch language files from your older release.

    I´d installed your older release and that one worked fine. Then I removed it and installed the above package and still working fine…

    A few other Dutch people also used it after a fresh firmware update to HXv11. They followed the guide on Andy´s site (removing resources-dir and copying the 4-row keyboard) and then installed the above package without first installing your older package and it also worked…

    Don’t know what the problem is. But is it working for you when you first install and remove the old package?

    ‎1) Download the basis pack of swype the new version 2) downlad the german pack ( in this pack english Uk/US/ Francais Canadien/spanish/ portugues Brasileiro is included and german of course ) 3)Change phone id to X6 4) Install the basis pa…ck … the new swype version without unstalling the previous version 5) Then you get a massage to restart your device do it 6) After the restart install the german pack 7) Next go to to swype setting-> turn the swype Method off than agiain to on 8) after that restart your device 9) change again the keyboard to the small keyboard THAN it should work !

  3. io ho preso il sis caricato sopra da bassie112,ho eliminato la lingua da lui aggiunta,aggiunto i files per la lingua italiana e installato il sis previa disiinstallazione della tua versione alla quale avevi aggiunto le varie lingue.riavviato e funziona su v11 con ID nokia x6

        1. It is working! Thank YOU! Would be great if we could have sis of every languange, because it is gonna be a lot of work to do a repack every time we install new version, anyway thanks again for a new version with all languages

    First I want to thank you for the n204, is perfect!
    I’m to customize the shortcuts from homescreen “samsung widget” custom for the n204, and I’m just hanging by a single detail … What program opens the Dialer?
    In the path z:\sys\bin\phoneui.exe discovered that the file is the shortcut to the dialer since it is already open, but for open root as in the theme “Use Finger,” I can not find. Do you can help me?

        I’m with the i8910 for less than a week, so I am very new to this system. And this question may seem a bit “stupid”, but then who as you open the dialer in N2O4?

        1. no problem man 😉

          To open the dialer, just press the menu button and then the green hardware button…(the one you use to call)

          Or just change homescreen and you have the shortcut to the dialer, because the others are not flash homescreens 😉

  9. Could you make ovi maps 3.06 working and install on e:\\ for i8910?
    Latest relesase has a cool feature to download Street Maps directly to our phone without a PC 🙂
